IT'S OUR SECOND BLOGOVERSARY + A Giveaway

Blogging is an incredibly personal and vulnerable hobby. Throughout these two years I've learned so much, not only about books, but also about the publishing industry, writing, the world, and myself. Never did I dream I would embed myself so deeply into an online outlet, but I'd found a place that made me comfortable. I'd found a place that shaped me into a better person. I'd found a place that allowed me to connect with other readers, interact with publishers, and make friendships to last a lifetime.

Now on March 1st, 2016 it has been two years since I started A Perfection Called Books! This. Is. Surreal. Time flies, doesn't it?

A Message From Julia:

When Rachel asked me way back when last summer if I was interested in joining the blog, there was absolutely no hesitation when I immediately responded with a resounding YES!  I was (and still am) a newbie blogger, but for some reason, she wanted me to join her APCB family.  I've only been part of this wonderful blog for a handful of months, but I remain grateful and indebted to Rachel for granting me this opportunity.  In a mere two years, Rachel has built up something anyone would want to be a part of.  She has poured her heart and soul out into this blog, and it shows everyday through her never ending treasure trove of well-written posts.  I wish I could take credit for some part of APCB's success, but this is totally all "Miss Perfectionist."  Happy, happy blogoversary, Rachel, Mishma, and APCB!  Cheers to another year of blogging with the both of you!

A Message From Mishma :

I was a half newbie blogger with only 5 months of blogging at my own blog Chasing Faerytales under my belt, when I was asked by Rachel whether I would be interested in joining her at A Perfection Called Books. I was unbelievably surprised, but didn't hesitate to say yes, as APCB is not only one of my favourite blogs ever, Rachel is also one of the sweetest and friendliest bloggers I've ever met, and it was a honour for me to share this journey with her. I've been part of the APCB family for seven months now, and there's never been a time where I've regretted making the choice to accept her request. Rachel has been an understanding, wonderful and amazing co blogger, and Julia and I have never been anything least of being completely at ease. And you, our lovely readers, thank you for welcoming me with open arms when I joined last year! Thank you Rachel and Julia for being amazing! This is a truly special day for all of us! Here's to many more successful years at A Perfection Called Books!
